meet karen
Karen was born and raised in Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Maryland Baltimore County. Karen is currently a student-intern and graduate student at Liberty University. Karen is passionate about helping individuals to live an authentic life and sees counseling as a tool to assist others in discovering hope, peace, and healing. Karen is a mom of three active girls. She loves to travel, read, hike, and entertain.
style of therapy
Karen understands that life does not always turn out the way we envisioned or planned. Making sense of experiences and the emotions that accompany them can be difficult to navigate through. Karen uses a person-centered and narrative therapy approach to assist individuals to sift through the confusion and perplexities that cause clients to become stuck in undesirable feelings and situations. Karen assists clients to explore their thoughts and emotions to promote healing.
