meet karen
Karen is originally from the Northeast but has called Greenville home for over 20 years. She is married and is proud to be the parent of two grown children, one son-in-law, two step-children, and two grandchildren. Karen spends her spare time with family and friends walking, dining, boating, appreciating the arts or traveling. In quieter moments, Karen can be found gardening, knitting, reading, or practicing yoga and pilates.

Karen provides a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the foundational connection between science, emotion, and spirituality. She offers an unconditional, non-anxious presence within a relaxed environment. Karen is passionate about and committed to supporting her clients in their unique journey to experience fulfillment and achieve their goals. She uses several different theoretical models to help meet her client’s needs which may include: Accelerated Resolution, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Emotionally Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, Psychodynamic and Solution Focused Therapies. Without a doubt, Karen believes that growth, change, and hope are always possible with the appropriate support.
