Caitlin Higa is originally from the northeast and spent most of her childhood overseas in Spain. She is married, loves traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling. She is a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in the state of South Carolina.
style of therapy
Caitlin employs an integrative approach to therapy based on the needs of the individual she is working with. The theoretical approaches she uses most are Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.

Caitlin works with adolescents over the age of 16, adults, and couples. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and works with clients to heal relationships with self and others. She has experience in relational dynamics, trauma, infertility, stress management, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and postpartum stress and depression.
