Katie Sholtis was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, and completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Clemson University. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Katie went on to receive her Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University. When Katie is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and watching thrillers, traveling, and taking long walks with her Labrador Retriever, Stella.

Katie’s approach to therapy places an importance on giving children and young adults a safe, trusting space where they can feel heard and receive support while navigating times of growth, exploration, and life transitions. Katie also values collaborating with clients’ family members to promote the importance of the family working as a healthy system. She uses an integrative and holistic approach incorporating evidence-based treatment modalities including:
